Another Year
First of all, I wish I could write in French, the most romantic language in the entire universe (at least that’s what we girls think).
Another day another month another year, yes, I’m a year older today. When you look back and ask your self, have you had everything you ever wanted? I know I have!
With the recent plane crash happened in Medan, I asked my husband what will we be doing if today is our last day on earth? He calmly responded saying, “nothing, we’ll stay home in bed and enjoy our last moment together”. There you go, I won’t ask for more!
We had a romantic dinner at the Bureau Melbourne (299 Collins St). We walked in to the resto closer to 6pm, a quiet birthday dinner, just the two of us. Although we ordered two different types of wines (shiraz & cab merlot), none of us knew which one’s which! Doesn’t matter….they taste nice.

For entrée, we shared three grilled chicken breast fillet served with a peanut sauce and saffron rice. For main, Deddy had a rib eye served on sweet potatoe mash with buttered snow peas and a port wine jus, and I had roast pumpkin & toasted macadamia risotto and for side dishes we had sautéed spinach & chips….yummm…. I was tempted to see the dessert menu, but…naaaa…too full!!!
It was a lovely night to share my birthday with my Deddy.
